Make These Easy Eggless Fudgy Brownies

Whether you are vegan or just don’t want to pay the high price of eggs right now, this recipe is for you.  When you bite into these chewy and chocolaty brownies I guarantee you won’t notice that they are made without eggs or butter.

Ingredients:

2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour

1tsp baking powder

1 cup boiling water

3 oz unsweetened chocolate

3/4 cup cocoa powder

1 3/4 cup organic sugar

1/2 cup canola oil or other vegetable oil

1 Tbsp vanilla

1/2 cup bittersweet chocolate chips

1 cup chopped walnuts

 

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9×13-inch sheet pan.

2. In a bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder and salt.

3.  In a larger bowl, whisk boiling water, unsweetened chocolate and cocoa.  Then, whisk in sugar, oil, and vanilla.  Stir in the flour mixture with a spatula.  At the end, stir in chocolate chips.

4. Pour the batter into the greased pan and place it in the oven. Bake for 30-35 minutes. 

 

I know it will be tempting to bite into a brownie immediately, but try to let it cool for 2 hours.
